Pineapple Tattoos

Pineapples are the edible fruits of the tropical plant with the same name, native of South America.

By the 15th century the pineapple had reached the Caribbean, and on his second voyage to the Caribbean, Christopher Columbus was one of the first Europeans to be delighted with this fruit. He brought some pineapples back to Europe, but the fruit proved to be very costly to cultivate.
