Notorious B.I.G.'s Tattoos

Mark Mahoney to Vibe Magazine on October 1999: “I did a Bible Psalm on his right forearm that read “The Lord is my light and salvation, whom shall I fear? The Lord is the truth of my life, of whom shall I be afraid? When the wicked, even my enemies and foes, came upon me to bite my flesh, they stumbled and fell.” It was one week before his murder, his first and only tattoo, and it was a whole lotta work. It was probably as much writing as I ever did.”

March 2, 1997 · Wallace had a tattoo on his right forearm that read: "The Lord is my light and my salvation." It is a quote from Psalm 27, a verse from the Bible that is sometimes read at funerals. The artist in charge of the tattoo was Mark Mahoney.
