Don Ed Hardy is an American Tattoo artist born in 1945 in Costa Mesa, California. Hardy is best known for his tattoo work and his eponymous apparel and accessories brand Ed Hardy. He was one of Sailor Jerry's three proteges together with Zeke Owens and Mike Malone.
Ed opened up America鈥檚 first custom-only shop, Tattoo City, in San Francisco in 1974.
