Dr Lakra

Jerónimo López Ramírez, also known as Dr Lakra, is a Mexican artist and tattooist based in Oaxaca, who is best known for being the first tattoo artist who has gained international recognition in the art world. His signature pieces consist of irreverent and provocative drawings and paintings on appropriated posters, erotic magazines and postcards, although his practice also encompasses mural painting, collage and sculpture.
